BREAKING | Will Goodwin joins Stalybridge Celtic on loan

    Chester FC can confirm that Will Goodwin has joined Stalybridge Celtic on loan.

    The 18-year-old Academy Graduate has joined the Bower Fold side initially until January.

    Will signed his first senior deal at the Deva Stadium in June – and was on the scoresheet seven days ago in our pre-season victory at Padiham.

    Goodwin made his senior debut in the FA Trophy at Royston Town in January this year as a second half substitute. He first joined our Academy at the age of nine and had a spell at Bolton Wanderers during his younger years.

    Simon Haworth’s side are currently in 21st position in the Northern Premier – one division below the Blues – and were knocked out of the FA Cup by Longridge Town over the weekend.
