WOMENS | Blues given bye in Vitality Women’s FA Cup 1QR
The draws for the opening two rounds of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup have been made with Chester FC Women receiving a bye to the second round qualifying.
The Blues will host either Salford City Lionesses Ladies or Curzon Ashton Ladies, who meet in the first round qualifying.
The tie is scheduled to be played on Sunday 3 October with full fixture details to be announced in due course.
A total of 418 clubs will be involved in the Women’s FA Cup this season, and 182 of them will be in action in the first round qualifying takes place on Sunday 12 September.
Winning clubs in the first round qualifying receive £400, with losing clubs collecting £100 while the second round qualifying sees £450 and £115 up for grabs for winners and losers respectively.
