PREVIEW | Maidstone United vs Chester
The Blues are back on the road tomorrow – with a long trip to the Gallagher Stadium to face a Maidstone United who are battling for a play-off spot.
The Stones sit in tenth place in the National League table, just one point off the play-off places – and just six off top spot in this fiercely-competitive league.
Chester come into the game buoyed by a dramatic and deserved 3-2 victory over Barrow on Tuesday. The game was won in the 94th minute as Lucas Dawson blasted home from outside the area to spark wild celebrations at the Swansway.
Jordan Archer marked his debut with a goal and a fantastic performance – and the physical striker will be a threat to Maidstone’s back line tomorrow.
Maidstone come into this game having lost just one league match since 2nd September. Newly-promoted for the 2016-17 season – they comfortably beat the drop last year and will be hoping to improve this campaign.
The signs are certainly promising for Jay Saunders’ side – and they will be a tough proposition on their 3g pitch.
