A message to supporters ahead of the trip to Banbury United

Chester Football Club wishes to thank you for the fantastic support shown at the first three games of the season.

The players appreciate your backing at home and on the road, and are excited to play in front of a sold-out away following at Banbury United tomorrow.

Last season’s match at Banbury saw instances of disorder and anti-social behaviour involving a small minority on both sides, that put the safety of supporters and players at risk.

In conjunction with Banbury United, Thames Valley Police and Cheshire Police, we strongly discourage anyone intent in causing anti-social behaviour or disorder from travelling to Banbury or attempting to attend this fixture.

Operational Football Officers from Cheshire Police will be present to identify individuals subject to club bans or those intent on causing disruption, and entry to the ground will be refused.
