BREAKING | Alex Lynch departs the Blues

Chester FC can today confirm that they have agreed to release goalkeeper Alex Lynch.

The 22-year-old leaves the Swansway Chester Stadium having made 45 appearances and some stunning saves along the way.

Lynch arrived at the Club in October 2016 from Bala Town – and showed his quality during his time with the Blues; his fantastic Man of the Match effort against Tranmere this season to keep a clean sheet immediately springs to mind.

As Alex departs, Chester FC can confirm they are in talks with a Premier League club – who are understanding of our financial constraints – to secure the loan signing of a goalkeeper.
