BREAKING | Chester FC Away Kit revealed for 2020/21!
Chester FC can reveal the club’s new Kappa away kit for the 2020/21 campaign – designed by 12-year-old Sam Curtis!
Sam’s winning design was selected from more than 130 entries in the Junior Blues competition and will see the team wearing a stunning white and green away kit from next season.
The judging panel was made up of Blues players Brad Jackson and Joel Taylor along with Director Jeff Banks, General Manager George Delves, Media Officer Albert Davies and Community Trust CEO Jim Green.
The judges came up with a shortlist of four fantastic designs before deciding on Sam’s as the overall winner.
Sam’s creation was then fine-tuned by the professionals at Kappa and will go into production in the coming weeks.
Once his design has been turned into reality, he will be the first person to wear the new kit as the club will present him with a shirt, shorts and socks. The three runners-up are Alex Barrowcliff, Ben Davies and Molly Clark who will each receive a new away shirt.
Community Trust CEO Jim Green said: “The standard of entries was incredible, but the panel felt Sam’s design was unique and will look incredible on the pitch next season.
“The four finalists should be really proud and it has certainly given us some food for thought for future kit designs.
“It’s a great way for the club to engage with young fan and I’m sure Sam will be buzzing with excitement when he sees the team he supports wearing the kit he designed for the first time next season.”
CONGRATULATIONS, SAM!
