BREAKING | Midfielder Gary Stopforth joins Chester FC

The Blues are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Gary Stopforth from Colne FC.

Stopforth is a box-to-box central midfielder who started his career at Blackburn Rovers – where he earned his first professional deal.

He’s also had spells in America and with Salford City and also Stockport County.

The 31-year-old has also been at Ramsbottom United – another player that has experience working with Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley.
