BREAKING | Turner and Clarke join Runcorn Linnets on loan

Chester FC duo Sam Turner and Zack Clarke have joined Runcorn Linnets on loan until January.

The young forwards both had loan spells last season – Sam with Lower Breck and Widnes – while Zack represented Atherton Colls, Clitheroe and Leek Town.

They both now link up with Dave Wild’s side for at least the first half of the 2022/23 campaign.

“Both Sam and Zack are talented young players who are both part of the first team group,” said Manager Calum McIntyre.

“However, it’s vital that our young players continue to play and get games at senior level. We hope this loan spell will get both players even closer to our first team squad.

“They are going to a club that our staff know well and where we know they will be properly looked after in a competitive league. I look forward to seeing how both boys continue to develop during the season.”
