Chester FC are pleased to confirm that goalkeeper Wyll Stanway has signed a new deal with the club.
The 21-year-old stopper has penned an initial one-year deal at the Deva Stadium after an impressive start to life with the Blues.
Stanway initially arrived in January from Northern Premier Division side Lancaster City and went on to make 11 appearances during 2021/22.
He started each of the final five games of the campaign and kept four clean sheets in the process.
Wyll had this to say after signing up for 2022/23: “I’m glad to finally get it sorted.
“I’m really looking forward to pre-season. I like what the plans are with the new Gaffer and the lads that are staying from last year too.
“I’m really happy to get it over the line and get signed up.”
Great to have you staying on board, Wyll!
