FA CUP PREVIEW | Chester vs Hanley Town

Chester attentions once again return to the Emirates FA Cup this weekend when Hanley Town visit CH1.

Calum McIntyre’s side are two wins away from the First Round Proper, and extended their unbeaten run to six matches in the week with an entertaining 2-2 draw at Chorley.

Hanley Town play in the Northern Premier Division One West, two divisions below the Blues, sitting 11th in the table with three wins from four away league games so far this term.

Winners of Third Round Qualifying ties will receive £5,625, with the losing sides getting £1,875. Kick off on Saturday afternoon is 3pm!

With season tickets not including FA Cup fixtures, we are asking supporters to purchase tickets in advance this weekend wherever possible to help us reduce the risk of queues at the turnstiles.

The quickest and easiest way to access the stadium is to buy online and scan your QR code at the turnstile using your mobile phone or printed ticket.

Card and contactless payments will also be available at the turnstiles on matchday, however buying online ensures faster entry.

We are delighted to once again be offering reduced prices for Under 18’s for this match with admission just £1 across the ground – and FREE for Under 12s as ever!

Younger fans aged 12-17 who wish to pay with cash will be able to buy tickets at the City Fans United gazebo before the game.

Those wishing to pay with a card or contactless will be able to do so at the turnstiles, however please remember that buying online is even quicker and easier!

All other supporters who wish to make cash purchases should visit the ticket office as normal.

Following a recent update to the competition rules, we are pleased to confirm that our kiosks will be selling alcohol for FA Cup and FA Trophy fixtures this season!

We wish to remind supporters that only alcohol purchased within the ground can be consumed during matches and that bringing alcohol into the stadium is not permitted.
