MATCH PREVIEW | Chester vs Alfreton Town

The Blues will be looking for a sixth straight victory in all competitions this weekend as Alfreton visit the Deva.

Wednesday’s excellent away win at Kidderminster in front of the BT Sport cameras improved our extremely impressive record on the road and propelled the Blues up to third in the process.

The two sides meet this weekend for the reverse fixture from the opening day of the season. At the Impact Arena, Tom Denton’s double denied Calum McIntyre all three points in his first match in charge – despite early goals from Kurt Willoughby and Joe Lynch.

Billy Heath’s men were most recently in league action last Friday night, fighting back to draw 1-1 at home to Kidderminster despite playing the second half with ten men.

Kick off on Saturday is 3pm.
