MATCH PREVIEW | Chester vs Farsley Celtic

The Blues’ penultimate home game of the 2022/23 regular season sees Farsley Celtic visit the Deva Stadium.

Easter Monday’s gutsy 2-1 win at Southport moved Calum McIntyre’s side on to 77 points, and they are now just two points away from mathematically sealing a top three finish and a home Play-Off Semi Final.

Matty Williams and Kurt Willoughby were both taken off injured at Haig Avenue – the latter just moments after firing in the winning goal – both will be assessed ahead of the weekend.

The visiting Celt Army are sitting just one place and one point above the relegation zone, and will be hoping to pick up a positive result ahead of Tuesday’s huge relegation six pointer at home to Blyth Spartans.

Kick off on Saturday afternoon is 3pm.
