MATCH PREVIEW | Chester vs Kidderminster Harriers

Chester will be looking to keep up their red hot form with a midweek game down CH1 against Kidderminster Harriers.

Saturday’s thrilling 4-2 win over Banbury United was another statement win for Calum McIntyre’s men, strengthening their position in third and moving to within five points of the top.

Kurt Willoughby’s stunning free kick, his 25th of the campaign, sealed the a third successive win and against one side that were looking for a late push to the play-off – next is a similar opponent in Kidderminster.

Russ Penn’s side were gaining momentum in their top seven ambitions with four wins out of five following victory at Spennymoor on 11th February, however since then their progress has stalled. Harriers are without a win in five games and without a goal in four matches, but still remain only four points away from the play-off places.

Kick off on Tuesday night is 7.45pm.
