MATCH PREVIEW | Chester vs Peterborough Sports
The Blues are on the hunt for their first win of 2023 following a succession of draws when Peterborough Sports visit the Deva this weekend.
Last Saturday’s excellent fightback at home to Curzon saw Calum McIntyre’s side extend their unbeaten run to an impressive 15 in the league, however it is now four draws on the bounce, and the Manager will be eager to start turning one point into three yet again.
The Blues boss has bolstered his squad this week with midfielder Rhys Hughes arriving on loan from Tranmere Rovers. Key man and skipper Declan Weeks will return this weekend after serving a one-match ban.
Eight points separates the sixth placed Seals from the 11th placed Sports. The Turbines last three league games have all finished 2-1, winning one of them and losing the other two, most recently at new league leaders King’s Lynn Town.
Jimmy Dean’s men also come into this game as the only side to win against Chester at home this season – a 3-2 victory at The Bee Arena back in August.
Kick off on Saturday is 3pm.
