Attentions from the league are diverted for a week or so, as a couple of cup games beckon for the Blues.
It starts tonight at the 1885 Arena against Stockport Town. After a convincing 7-0 away win at Runcorn Town back in October, this is now Round Two of the Cheshire Senior Cup. The visitors play in the North West Counties Division One South – and currently sit 8th in the table and 12 points off the play-off places.
Tonight’s game represents an opportunity for the Blues players who have not started a game recently and coming back from injury. Also, our Academy products that are gaining vital experience away on loan are eligible for this competition for Chester.
