MATCH PREVIEW | Guiseley vs Chester | National League North

After a fantastic start to 2020, the Blues are looking for back-to-back victories this weekend in Yorkshire.

Hosts Guiseley had a strong start to the season before dropping off slightly, however a fantastic run of three successive wins over the festive period has put them back on the cusp of the play-off places.

The Blues will be hoping to welcome back any of Danny Livesey, Scott Burton, George Glendon and Joel Taylor from injury – but they did well in their absence, a thumping four-nil win over Southport on New Years Day at the 1885 Arena.

The last three games at Nethermoor between these two sides have finished 1-1, with James Alabi, Kingsley James and Jon Moran getting our respective goals in the seasons prior. Guiseley are Joint Managed by former Blues boss Marcus Bignot.

Another win for the Blues would be a massive result and aid them in keeping pace with the top two. Kick off is 3pm!
