MATCH PREVIEW | Guiseley vs Chester

The Blues are back on the road for their fourth consecutive away game tomorrow – and face a trip to Nethermoor Park to face Guiseley.

Last seasons two Northern National League relegated sides will lock horns, with Chester hoping to overturn two consecutive defeats with a positive result in Leeds.

A 3-1 defeat at high flyers AFC Telford last weekend was our last fixture, with work going on tirelessly at the Swansway to get football back at home for the Blues after the flood damage.

There could be some changes to the side after injuries picked up in our last game. Gary Roberts will serve the second game of his suspension.

Guiseley meanwhile will be relishing the prospect of Chester making the visit. They are now Joint Managed by Marcus Bignot – who was in charge of the Blues from September to April last season – and Russ O’Neill.

Bignot took two players with him, as Andy Halls and Kingsley James now feature for the Lions. The former scored the equaliser in their last game – a 1-1 draw at Altrincham.

Guiseley are unbeaten in five following that result – but their first win of the season only came six days ago through a 94th minute Kaine Felix winner against Nuneaton.
