NLN PREVIEW | Chester vs AFC Fylde

Despite all the uncertainty surrounding the National League North season, the Blues are set to return to action with a Tuesday night clash.

It’s 2nd meets 3rd at the Deva, as big spending AFC Fylde make the trip to CH1. The Coasters have bounced back positively since last seasons relegation from the National League and sit one point behind the Blues with three games in hand.

Chester last played at home on January 5th, coming up 1-0 winners against Guiseley. Both sides will be looking to shake off any rustiness with their first competitive action since the league was suspended last month.

Joint Bosses Bern and Jonno will be without defender Connor Taylor, who has gone back to parent club Stoke City following a loan spell, and also striker Will Goodwin who was sold to the Potters for an undisclosed fee on Deadline Day.

    Kick off is 7.45pm.
