NLN PREVIEW | Chester vs AFC Telford
Chester’s first game of 2021 takes place at the Deva Stadium, as AFC Telford United visit CH1 in the National League North.
The Blues will be looking to bounce back after home defeat on Monday to Chorley. The visitors defended well to come away with the three points, on a day where Anthony Dudley marked his 100th appearance for the club by scoring for a fourth game in succession.
AFC Telford haven’t played since Boxing Day when the Blues won the reverse fixture between the two sides. Their match at Kidderminster Harriers was postponed following heavy snow in the area on the 28th. With one defeat and one postponement following Christmas, Gavin Cowan’s side dropped out of the Play-Offs and into mid table in what is a compact league table.
Simon Grand is set to make his 100th appearance for the Blues, while Captain George Glendon is also in line to play his 50th game for the club.
