PREVIEW | Chester vs Morecambe

EFL opposition visit the Deva Stadium once again this weekend, as League One Morecambe face Chester.

This will be our third game of pre-season, with a victory and a defeat thus far. Goals from Sam Turner and Zack Clarke saw us 2-0 winners over Whitchurch Alport, before losing to League Two side Rochdale – but with plenty of positives on display for Calum McIntyre’s side seven days ago.

A couple of new faces have been added to the squad this week, and both are expected to make their debuts.

Midfielder Alex Kenyon, who spent eight years with Saturday’s opponents, joined on Monday following a successful trial period. Striker Kurt Willoughby won promotion from the National League North with York City last season – and is another exciting signing for the Blues.

Kick off on Saturday afternoon is 3pm.
