PREVIEW | Spennymoor Town vs Chester

The Blues are back on the road this weekend for their final game before Christmas – with Spennymoor the opposition.

Interim Manager Danny Livesey got his first victory in charge last weekend and it was in Chester’s usual dramatic fashion, with James Horsfield’s 95th minute strike proving to be the winner in tough conditions.

Spennymoor meanwhile were beaten 2-0 at Gloucester, stretching their winless run in the league to eight matches. The result saw the end of the line for Management Team Tommy Miller and Stuart Parnaby, who parted ways with the club.

The Blues will be without Charlie Jolley, who was recalled from his loan by Tranmere on Tuesday and went to score their winner at Oldham, as well as Paddy Lacey – who faces this third professional boxing bout at the M&S Bank Arena.

Kick off this Saturday afternoon is 3pm.
