PREVIEW | Trafford vs Chester

Chester complete a run of four away friendlies in seven days on Tuesday night when they face Trafford FC.

The Blues have had some vital workouts in recent days, visiting Northwich Vics, Macclesfield and Radcliffe – winning all three matches 5-1, 3-0 and 2-1 respectively.

Joint Boss Bernard Morley has overseen the matches solo in that time, with fellow Co-Manager Anthony Johnson currently recovering from Covid-19.

We visited Trafford in pre-season back in 2019, on 27th July, the same date we face them this year! The Blues won 3-1 on that occasion. Brad Jackson, Simon Grand and an own goal were our scorers on the day.

With just four friendlies remaining before our National League North opener, excitement is building fast around the Deva.
