REPORT | Northwich Vixens 0-2 Chester FC Women
The Seals made it four victories on the bounce courtesy of second half goals from Ellie Bradley and Imogen Paul.
A big success away from home kept up the impressive winning streak, and all but assured Martin Fitzsimons’ side of a top four finish.
It was a quiet start to the game at the Park Stadium, before the Blues almost took the lead on 41 minutes, however Molly Wood saw her effort crash against the post after good work by Ash Bullock in the build up.
Bullock though was to get the assist for the breakthrough ten minutes after the interval. Her pass set Bradley away, who made no mistake to give the Seals the lead.
Chester kept the pressure on in their pursuit of a second, and it arrived on 71 when Paul smashed home an excellent effort from distance to secure the win.
CHESTER: Doherty, Adderley, Sands (Lloyd 64), Dowell, Quigg, Redman, Lloyd (Paul 14), Locke (Hollis 71), Bradley, Wood, Bullock.
