RIP Stanley Wilks

Chester FC were saddened to learn of the passing of our oldest season ticket holder, Stanley Wilks, on Wednesday at the age of 98.

Stanley was most definitely a true blue having supported his club for most of his 98 years, and was a season ticket holder up-to and including last season.

Fan Engagement Director, Jeff Banks, paid tribute to Stanley: “It was a sad moment for us at the club when we received the news from his family of Stanley’s passing. He was very well known at Chester FC and clearly had so much passion for the club, his club.

“On behalf of all Blues, we offer our sincere condolences to all of Stanley’s family and friends and look forward to being able to pay tribute to him and others that we have said farewell to over the last 12 months, when we resume next season.”
