THANK YOU | Val Pate is our Wednesday feature for Volunteers Week!

This week at Chester FC we are celebrating our fantastic volunteers who give up their time and put so much effort in to driving our club forward.

Today we focus on the Ticket Office, which is a hive of activity throughout the week as well as matchdays. There are several people covering 10 different shifts in the week alone, and of course matchday follows on from that too!

One of those Ticket Office volunteers, is Val Pate, who has given countless hours to the club since the club reformed, along with others, and today Val is the subject of our short video on Volunteers at Chester FC.

The Ticket Office is a vital piece of the jigsaw at Chester FC, being the first impression of the club that fans or members of the public including businesses will see at the Deva Stadium, or over the phone and email of course too. Those first impressions both count and last of course, and contribute so much towards life at our fan owned club.

Once again, thanks to Leah Davies who has assisted Media Officer Albert Davies in the compilation of these videos for Volunteers Week at Chester FC.

Tomorrow and Friday, we’ll continue our look at Volunteering at Chester FC and what it means to those fulfilling the role that they play.

The culmination of our Volunteers Week theme centres on Saturday’s home match against Leamington, when we be saying ‘Thank You’ to all of our many volunteers. Please join in on Twitter where we have hashtags #CFCVolunteersWeek and #ThankYou.

To get involved with volunteering at our fan owned club, please email info@chesterfc.com or call 01244 371376, and please remember any amount of time that you can spare is fully appreciated by everyone at Chester FC.
