YOUTH CUP PREVIEW | Chorley vs Chester

The FA Youth Cup returns this evening – as the Young Blues compete in Second Qualifying Round action at Chorley FC.

Calum McIntyre’s side were 4-1 winners at Clitheroe in the previous round at Shawbridge just 12 days ago. The front two of Will Goodwin and Regan Rubin both impressed – bagging a brace each.

This round is just one of the two wins required for the Blues to make it to the First Round proper – which would be yet another fantastic feat for the academy. Last year saw them defeat Sandbach, Marine, Wrexham and Hartlepool to make it to Round One – where they upset Barnsley at the Deva before going out to Mansfield Town.

Kick off at Victory Park is 7pm. Admission for all is £3, no concessions prices.
