    Chester FC Women are in action at the Deva Stadium this Wednesday evening against Northwich Vixens!

    The Blues have made a positive start to the new North West Women’s Regional Football League Division One South season. They’ve picked up seven points from their opening three games and sit top of the table on goal difference.

    Entry is FREE for all in the Gary Talbot (East) Stand, although donations will be welcome on arrival. A kiosk will be open in the stand towards the North Terrace, offering a range of food and refreshments, including alcohol.

    Kick off is 7.30pm. Last season, Martin Fitzsimons’ side got a crowd of 201 – let’s back the Blues and try and beat that figure this term!


    BURY AFC WOMEN 1 CHESTER FC WOMEN 1

    On Sunday, the Blues extended their unbeaten start to the side with a solid point on the road at Bury. Molly Wood, who bagged a hat-trick in Chester’s last outing, opened the scoring on 58 minutes.

    However, a well-taken free kick on 86 minutes saw the hosts fight back to earn a point. This game after a 4-0 win over Altrincham and a 6-3 away victory at Poulton Vics.

    With Northwich Vixens having won their opening two games, game four of the new league season for the Blues looks set to be a close encounter!
