NEXT UP | The Blues travel to face York City this weekend!

Next up for Chester FC is a trip to York City and Bootham Crescent this Saturday in the National League North.

The Blues were beaten by a late goal at big spending Gloucester over the weekend, meaning they now have three wins and two defeats from their first five matches.

Chester sit in fifth in the table at the time of writing, while York are currently ninth in the table – having only played three league games due to a period of self-isolation.

Following Altrincham’s narrow win over the Blues in the Play-Off Eliminators back in July, the Robins would then go on to defeat Steve Watson’s side in the Semi-Finals en route to promotion.

York led the way in the league in March, before Points Per Game saw King’s Lynn leapfrog the Minstermen and claim the title last term. City will be hoping to be in and around the top once again this campaign.

Saturday’s match at Bootham Crescent is behind closed doors. However, there are plenty of ways to keep up to date with all the action.

York City are running a live stream for the game. You can register and purchase your match pass in advance for £7.99.
