Preview: King’s Lynn Town (h)
Chester’s first home game of the National League North campaign brings fellow 22/23 Play Off Semi Finalists King’s Lynn to the Deva.
The Blues were beaten last Saturday in their season opener at Bishop’s Stortford, and Manager Calum McIntyre could now be set to be without several of his key players for the next few games due to injury.
One positive from the week was the Man United friendly, which saw Club Captain George Glendon make his return to action after over a year out – he is expected to feature.
THE OPPOSITION
King’s Lynn Town finished second last season, one place above the Blues. Both sides that face off this weekend were beaten at home in their respective Play-Off Semi Finals last term.
Manager Mark Hughes will be known to Chester fans, having played 69 games for the club between 2007 and 2009. The Linnets opened the campaign with a 2-2 draw at home to Hereford last weekend.

Kick off is 3pm on Saturday afternoon at the Deva Stadium. The postcode for the ground is CH1 4LT.
